An election brings new faces, returning councillors and plenty of ideas about what needs to happen next. Those early conversations can set the tone for the whole council term.

The first of two one-hour training explores meaningful induction and clear roles and relationships. We’ll look at helping new and returning councillors work together, creating a healthy relationship between officers and councillors, and establishing expectations. We’ll also explore rupture and repair: how to address misunderstandings before they become lasting divisions.
